The content of the Service — including evidence summaries, likelihood ratios, helpfulness ratings, the probability calculator, and AI Mode output — is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for the independent professional judgment of a qualified clinician who has evaluated the individual patient.

No professional relationship

Use of the Service does not create a doctor–patient relationship, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship, between you and BedsideDx or its founder.

Clinical judgment and responsibility

You are solely responsible for any clinical decision you make. Diagnostic and treatment decisions depend on the full clinical context of an individual patient, which the Service cannot know. Always integrate the Service’s information with your own examination, history-taking, clinical reasoning, local guidelines, and other appropriate sources, and verify important information against primary sources before relying on it.

About the evidence and AI output

The Service summarizes published evidence, which has inherent limitations and may not apply to every patient or setting. Statistics such as likelihood ratios come from specific study populations. AI Mode uses an artificial-intelligence model and may produce information that is incomplete, outdated, or incorrect; it does not establish a diagnosis. Do not enter protected health information into AI Mode.

While we strive for accuracy, we make no representation or warranty that the content is complete, current, or error-free. The Service is provided “as is” as described in our Terms of Service.
