Timed Up-and-go Test

🎬
Video coming September 2026

How to Perform

With the patient seated back in a standard armchair, wearing their usual footwear and using their usual walking aid if needed, mark a line 3 meters (about 10 feet) away. On the command “go,” start timing as the patient stands, walks to the line at a comfortable and safe pace, turns, walks back, and sits down again. Stop timing when the patient is seated with their back against the chair. Record the time in seconds.
